Airports Authority of India (AAI), NSCBI Airport, Kolkata on behalf of its subsidiary AAI Cargo Logistics & Allied Service Company Limited (AAICLAS) invites eligible candidates to participate in walk-in-interview for engagement of Certified Security Screeners on a Fixed Term Contract basis for a period of three years (further extendable) on need/performance basis at Kolkata Airport.
Walk-in-Interview is to be conducted for the engagement of Fixed Term Security Screeners (Certified) tentatively on 05.06.2023 (Monday) at 10.00 AM in the Conference Hall of Airport Director, AAI, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata-700052.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
FOR CERTIFIED SECURITY SCREENERS: –
10+2 / Intermediate/ 12th or equivalent from any recognized Board/ University/
Essential –
(i) Possess valid BCAS basic AVSEC (13 days) Certificate
(ii) Possess valid BCAS Screener Certification (Standalone or ILHBS) (at least valid till 30.09.2023)
(iii) Ability to read/speak English, Hindi and/or conversant with local language i.e Bengali
Preferable- Valid Dangerous Goods Certification
EXPERIENCE:
Any period. However, the candidate must have a valid BCAS Certified Screener (Standalone or ILHBS) with valid AVSEC Basic Certification.
UPPER AGE LIMIT AS ON 31.05.2023: For Security Screeners (Certified) – 50 Years
Age relaxation of 5 years to candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe and age relation of 3 years to OBC (NCL) shall be considered. Relaxation in age for candidates belonging to PWD and Ex-serviceman categories shall be considered as per the rules. All relaxations shall be subject to the submission of a valid certificate issued by the appropriate government.
MONTHLY SALARY OF CERTIFIED SECURITY SCREENERS

Such candidates who shall report in AAICLAS within 15 days from the issue of the offer of engagement, they shall be given an additional Rs. 20,000/- as Joining Bonus. In case of non-completion of full tenure of 3 years, this joining bonus shall also be recoverable from such
HOW TO APPLY
The candidate who fulfills the eligibility criteria as of 31.05.2023 will be required to appear for Walk-in-Interview on the above date, time, and venue. Further, they will keep with the format of the application filled in all respects, one set of self-attested copies of all the original Certificates/ mark sheets/experience certificates/ Professional qualification Certificates/ training Certificates/ Aadhar Card/ Pan Card/ Category certificates (if applicable) / other documents (if any), etc. Candidates must ensure that their BASIC AVSEC Certification should be valid at least till 30.09.2023.
Candidates belonging to the OBC category should submit the certificate in the prescribed format including the “Non-Creamy Layer Clause” issued by the Competent Authority for employment under the Government of India and should be as per the Central list of OBCs published by the Government of India. Please also note that the validity of the “Non-Creamy Layer should not be older than Six (6) months from the date of the eligibility i.e., 31.05.2023.
