The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune, is accepting online applications from eligible and interested candidates for the positions of IITM Research Associate and IITM Research Fellow. The post of IITM Research Associate has 12 vacancies, while the post of IITM Research Fellow has 10 vacancies. Selected candidates for the IITM Research Associate position will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 47,000/- p.m., and those selected for the IITM Research Fellow position will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 31,000/- p.m., along with applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA). The tenure for IITM Research Associates is one year initially, extendable by an additional two years based on performance, while IITM Research Fellows have a four-year tenure. The selection process, as per the official notification of IITM Recruitment 2023, will be based on a written test or interview. The selected candidates will be stationed at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, located at Dr. Homi Bhabha Road, Pashan, Pune – 411008.
