DRDO Recruitment 2023: RAC invites online applications from graduate engineers and post-graduates in Science including students who are appearing or have appeared in their final year examination for the posts of Scientist `B’ in Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) in level-10 (7Th CPC) of the pay Matrix (Rs.56,000/-) in specified disciplines and categories. Total emoluments (Inclusive of HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 100000/- per month at the present metro city rate. In accordance with the official notification of DRDO recruitment 2023, there are a total of 181 vacancies for the given posts. Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE score. All the details will be intimated to shortlisted candidates through the RAC website.
As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO recruitment 2023, Candidates belonging to the General/EWS/OBC category have to pay Rs. 100 as the application fee and ST/SC/PwBD category candidates are exempted from payment of the fee. The last date for submitting the application form is 21 days from the date of activation of online registration at the RAC website.

Selection Procedure for DRDO Recruitment 2023
Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE score. All the details will be intimated to shortlisted candidates through the RAC website.
The final selection of PwD(HH), PwD(LD), and PwD(AAV/Dw) candidates against the vacancies reserved for them in the applicable disciplines will be purely on the basis of combined merit of aggregate of 80% weightage of GATE score and 20% weightage of marks in Personal Interview.
Application Fee for DRDO Recruitment 2023
General (UR), EWS, and OBC male candidates are required to pay a non-transferable non‐refundable application fee of Rs 100/‐ (Rs. One Hundred only) payable online only. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PwD and women candidates.
How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2023
Eligible candidates are required to register online at the RAC website (https://rac.gov.in). On successful registration, the candidates may log in before the closing date of the advertisement to fill out the application form online. The candidates are required to upload the requisite certificates (See Para 3 for details), the details of the application fee payment (if not exempted) and lock the application before submission of the same. Other instructions are mentioned in the DRDO recruitment 2023 notification.
